Our warm congratulations to the masters of Petrykivka decorative painting with the successful participation at the 5 th International festival of cultures “Rudenines” and Festival of Ukrainian culture ” Aš myliu ją,mano Ukraina” dedicated to 200 anniversary of Taras Shevchenko.
Ukrainian skill charmed Lithuanian festival’s judges and spectators wishing to clearly discern every movement of masters’ brushes. They were awarded by Festivals’ organizers with the diplomas, memory souvenirs and some gifts .
Warm welcome of Ukrainian delegation was continued in the capital of Lithuania Republic – Vilnius –at Theart school named for M. K.Čiurlionis. The gifted schoolchildren spent hour and a half had being leaning the specifics and intricacies of Petrykivka decorative painting that fascinates everyone by its expressiveness and complexity at the same time.
Paying due attention to the flourishing of ancient crafts in Dniepropetrovsk region, the Honorary Consulate of Lithuania Republic in Dniepropetrovsk will continue to promote and create an opportunity for traveling our masters to European countries and show our Ukrainian art to the world .
