Christmas is almost here, the most beautiful holiday of the year and the most important period of two Christian religions, orthodox and Catholics. At this time we think more often about the good, warmth and start to believe in miracles. (Ukrainian society) Ukrainians who live in Visaginas (Lithuania) in association with the Honorary Consulate of Lithuania in Dnipro have made the decision to organize a project "Christmas By Your Hands," in which masters of Petrykivsky folk art will visit Lithuania and decorate the main Christmas tree in Visaginas using Ukrainian traditions.
We believe that Ukraine’s coming day fully depends on how we will form the citizenship of the youth, their sense of support and patriotism and the unity with the native people. The children from Dnipropetrovsk and Luhansk regions, who have been studying this year at Lithuanian school "Vilnius Lithuanian’s house", will exactly take part at this event.
Paying due attention to the rise of Dnipropetrovsk ancient crafts, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania in Dnipro fully contributes to the free traveling of artists of our region to European countries to get acquainted the world with Ukrainian art.
