On May, 25-26 on the invitation of the regional administration the heads of diplomatic missions to Ukraine such as Mr. Marius Janukonis, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiory Ambassador of Lithuanian Republic, Ms.Argita Daudze, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiory Ambassador of Latvian Republic and Mr.Sulev Kannike, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiory Ambassador of Estonian Republic paid a working visit to Dniepropetrovsk. The purpose of the visit was to get aquaintanted with the current situation in our region through the number of official meetings in the state local institutions, medical establishments and public organizations.
With the support of Vitaliy Pivnyak, Honorary consul of the Lithuania in Dniepropetrovsk, the high delegation held the meetings with Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dniepropetrovsk state regional administration, and Eugen Udod, Head of the Dniepropetrovsk regional counsil. On behalf of his goverment M.Janukonis, official of the Lithuanian mission, has expressed one more time the assurance that Lithuanian side would provide the further assistance in reform of medical servise. In the nearest prospect the real embodiment of foreign states partner ‘s espirations would be the establishment of the rehabilitation centre for the restoring physiology and psyhology health after heavy wounds.
During the meeting with the students in National Mining University the Ambassadors of three Baltic coutries underlined in their speeches the importance of the aid to Ukraine against the aggressor, the overcoming consequences of military acts, the exchanging of the experience in adaptation of the national legislation to the EU requirements, the fighting with the corruption and providing the rights and freedoms for men and citizens.
Unfortunately, the visit to Dniepropetrovsk regional hospital named after Mechnikov by the foreign guests has become the tradition . Sergiy Rygenko, head of the hospital, introdused to the delegation the place of the future rehabilitation centre based on the existing psyhosomatic centre. Besides, the delegates met and talked to the wounded soldiers, who were delivered from ATO zone recently.
Due to the Volunteering in the Dniepropetrovsk region today put into effect, peharps, the greatest aid to the soldiers and their families, the delegation visited the headquoter of one of such organizations. The members of the union acquinted the delegation with it’s activities and everyday reluctant difficulties.
We would like to note that today the three of Baltic states’ have been the most active lobbyists of Ukraine’s interests and sovereign rights in the Europian Parliament and the Counsil of the Europe against the background of external aggression, which obstructed our country to get the full membership in the European Union.
