On May, 18 in the frame of Europe Days in Ukraine Honorary Consul of Lithuanian Republic Vitaliy Pivnyak has taken part in pannel discussion: “How does Ukraine can inspire Europe? How does Ukraine can enrich Europe?”. The high ranking officials of Ukrainian diplomatic corps such as Mr. Jan Tombinski, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, and Mr. Detlev Wolter, Consul General of Germany in Donetsk with office in Dniepropetrovsk, were the participants of the meeting along with the representatives of the regional authority and scientists as well. The potencial of Dniepropetrovsk and Dniepropetrovsk region and prospects of Ukraine as the future member of the European Union were disscused at the meetings. All the participans of the disscussion noted the importance of public activity in the developing and implementing the projects which facilitate to reform the state and the private sector step by step.
In his speech, Vitaliy Pivnyak underlined that the example of successful eurointegration process in Lithuanian Republic gives self-confidence to Ukrainian state to overcome the preparation stage towards the membership of the European Union.

Besides, Vitaliy Pivnyak with the representatives of regional authority and foreign diplomats have become the honorary guests on the opening ceremony of the Local Democracy Agency of Dniepropetrovsk region. The aim of such establishment is to improve the cooperation between the local authority of our region and public society. Ruled by the Europian Charter of local authority the leaders of the region have made one more step towars implementation of the principles of democratic governance in the region.
