On March 25, 2017 there was the solemn awarding ceremony for the prize "Person of the Year-2016". This year Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine Marius Janukonis won the prize in the field of diplomacy.
Lithuania with the direct participation of the Ambassador, consistently and steadily afford real assistance in establishing the democratic values and peaceful transformation of our country.
We wish Mr. Ambassador inexhaustible energy at the high position, invincible spirit and inspired work for the benefit of both countries.
