Due to the hard and systematic work of Vitaliy Pivnyak, the Honorary consul of Lithuania in Dnipro, in assistance with Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine, representatives of Ministry of National Defense in Lithuania and Dnipropetrovsk RSA meeting with some Ukrainian soldiers on the air route Dnipro – Vilnius who travel for the recovery isn’t surprising.
Today, on April 4, 2017 there was the departure of two soldiers to Military rehabilitation center in Druskininkai.
That has become a kind tradition to see off the soldiers at the airport by representatives of Honorary consul, who actively assisted in the issuing of all the necessary documents to travel to the EU country for rehabilitation.
During 2014-2016 and January-March 2017 period 137 Ukrainian officers and soldiers received treatment and rehabilitation at the medical institutions of Lithuania.
