On May 14, in the Embassy of Lithuanian Republic to Ukraine has been the historical event – the Lithuanian historical flag was raised on the flagstaff alongside with the Lithuanian state flag and European Union flag. During official ceremony the flag has been raised by the member of the European Parliament Petras Auštrevičiu and with Lithuanian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Marius Janukonis. The honorary guests of the ceremony were all members of the European Parliament delegation, who had been invited to Ukraine due to parliamentary cooperation, the deputies of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada and the delegates of the Lithuanian Honorary consulate in Dniepropetrovsk.
