On May 12, 2017 the delegation of the Lithuanian Republic arrived in Dnipro. The delegation consisted of Ambassador of Lithuania to Ukraine Marius Janukonis, Defense attaché to the Embassy of Lithuania Algirdas Norkus and President of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Business Club Andrius Venskunas.
At the invitation of Valentyn Reznichenko (the Head of Dnipropetrovsk RSA) the delegation has taken part in the solemn opening of the Memory Alley.

With the assistance of the Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Dnipro Vitaliy Pivnyak there were organized meetings with the Deputy Mayor of the city and the first governor’s deputy of the Dnipropetrovsk region, where they discussed the number of topical issues of Lithuania – Dnipropetrovsk region relations and priorities for joint effort in 2017.

Visit to Dnipro City Council
Within the framework of the visit Dnipropetrovsk Mechnikov Regional Clinical Hospital has received the humanitarian aid – medicines and consumables. Such assistance was provided through the charitable contribution made by Lithuanian businessmen on behalf of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian Business Club. Also in favor of the hospital there was presented the icon drown in the box of weapon. The box was sent from the Front. It is expected that this icon will decorate the prayer room in the hospital.
