Each child hopes to get the most cherished gift on St. Nicholas Day. It is okay when the dream is about a toy or some sweets. Regretfully when the child wants to get opportunity to run again as before, enjoy a full life and think about it’s health.
The morning on St. Nicholas Day was marked this year for the family who has experienced suffering because of the disastrous state of their child. 17-year-old Illia Lutsenko, who was seriously injured in Mariupol after two difficult operations, today received the news from the Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Dnipropetrovsk, Vitaly Pivnyak, that specialists in Lithuania are waiting for him for a free rehabilitation. To Regional Hospital named after Mechnykov in Dnipropetrovsk came Advisor of Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration, Boris Treyherman ,for greetings on St.Nichlas Day .
With the support of the Honorary Consulate the Lithuanian Charitable Foundation "Unity" prepared the financial foundation in order to pay for rehabilitation at children's rehabilitation center "Sun", which is located on the banks of the river Nemunas and costs for prereabilitation, flights and accommdation for the boy and his mother for the entire period of staying in a friendly country.
On December, 22 Illia and his mother will go to Vilnius, accompanied by a staff member of the Honorary Consulate, where they will be met by the leaders of the fund.
