On November 6, 2019, a new Ukrainian class`s departure for Vilnius Lithuanian House took place at Dnipro International Airport. 15 children from the families of the perished participants of ATO and JFO as well as those children who had left the territory in Donetsk and Luhansk regions which is not under Ukrainian Government control flew to get education. As of 2019, the Republic of Lithuania has already funded the annual education and accommodation for 90 young Ukrainians, who have been particularly badly affected by Russian military aggression.
“Lithuania provides a unique opportunity for the young generation of Ukraine. This is the sixth group of teenagers who is going to get schooling in Vilnius Lithuanian House. Staying abroad encourages more diligent learning, new achievements and positive changes in life. I believe that children will be able to fulfill a lot of the positive things that they will receive from this programme for the prosperity of our country. We would like to thank our friends from Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration who took part in organization of this trip,” the Honorary Consul emphasizes.
