Honorary consul of Lithuania in Dnipro Vitaliy Pivnyak with rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs and director of the Lithuanian law Center Andriy Fomenko awarded the winners of popular scientific essay contest "Ukraine-Lithuania: Partnership in the legal field."
More than 40 works were submitted at the contest final.
The essay contest took place in December of the current year with the aim of development the youth’s active stand in life, readiness to participate in social, cultural and international life of the country as well as the increase in the significance of the idea of unity and friendship of Lithuania and Ukraine among the young contestants.
The event was also supported by the Embassy of Lithuania to Ukraine, which presented the winners with valuable gifts.
"In Lithuania, the whole 2018 was dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the restoration of its statehood, so it will be remembered for a lot of interesting events, but the main achievement, we can rightfully consider, the establishment of the first Ukrainian Center of Lithuanian Law in Dnipro. Today's event once again proves that the Center's objectives are fully implemented. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy and the Honorary Consulate of Lithuania will support in every possible way all the activities of the Lithuanian Law Center. On our own initiative, the best works will be sent to colleagues in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania for familiarization and for further work with them," – the Honorary consul noted.
