The time passes fast, but the terrible memories about the horror of war don’t erase so quickly. The kids, who were invited to the Lithuanian Republic for the rehabilitation, had successfully returned to the Motherland. After the rehabilitation course the children have told sadly goodbye to the staff of Lithuanian doctors and caregivers, who looked after them while staying in the children’s rehabilitation centre ,,The Sun’’ and the programs of curative treatment and procedures. The air of the Druskininkai pine forest, the mineral water, physiotherapy treatments and massages, inhalations, pearl bathes in the synthesis of the professional individual approach to the problems of each of the children have promoted to strengthen the immune system of the kids and correct the problems of upper and lower limbs’ functioning.
On September, 2nd, in the airport “Dniepropetrovsk” Mykola, Katya and Vanya have met by Vitaliy Pivnyak, Honorary consul of Lithuanian Republic in Dnieproperovsk, with their mother Mariya and Vitaliy Lytvyn, adviser to the Head of Dniepropetrovsk state regional administration. Assisted by Hanna Podlesnaya, representative of the Honorary consulate, the brothers and sister Honcharovy have arrived safety from Kyiv to Dniepropetrovsk. The little Melaniya with her grandmother have left in Kyiv. Answering on the journalists questions how the children have spent the time in Lithuanian Republic, they have been telling joyfully with the tears that despite missing for mother and grandmother, the month has passed fast and fun due to doctors and caregivers tried to bright up their staying in the distant country not only by kindness, but with the goodies, picnics and the walks around the town.
