On April 22, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Dnipro Vitaliy Pivnyak joined the #Dnipro_kvitychii campaign, initiated by Dnipro City Council. Together with the consuls of Germany, Romania, Brazil, Austria, Israel and representatives of the French Alliance Française cultural center, the Diplomatic Corps planted 10 sharp-leaved maples. These trees will take root well, because the seedlings were selected by specialists of the Department of Parks and Recreations of the City Council," Volodymyr Miller, the Deputy Mayor, Director of the Department of Economy, Finance and City Budget of Dnipro City Council said.
Symbolically, the action in Shevchenko Park took place on International Earth Day.
