Lithuanian cycling-amateurs, headed by the Leader of the Seimas’ opposition of the Republic of Lithuania, the former Prime Minister of Lithuania Mr. Andrius Kubilius, are in Ukraine today. During the bicycle rally "United we bike for Ukraine", the delegation of 10 Lithuanian cyclists will ride across Eastern Ukraine.
On August, 28th Lithuanians are going to start the bicycle rally in Mariupol, the route will measure about 500 km and pass through the cities adjacent to the anti-terroristic operation zone. Such a unique rally signifies solidarity with Ukraine and support given to it in such a difficult times for us.
The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania in Dnipro dealt with some organizational issues and actively assisted in preparation of the event.
