Armed Forces Day in Lithuania is celebrated annually on November 23 and is called Day of Lithuanian soldiers. On this day in 1918, Augustinas Voldemaras the Prime Minister of Lithuania signed a decree that set up the beginning of a regular formation of the Lithuanian Army.
On November 16, we marked the 98th anniversary of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Day at the Lithuanian Embassy in Ukraine.
We wish long years of peace, welfare and prosperity to our both countries.
