From 18 to 22 March 2014 Dniepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Lugansk were visited by officials of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania , the Republic of France and the Czech Republic. The delegation had intended to get acquainted with the situation in Ukraine , particularly in the eastern regions. The situation in Ukraine is extremely important for visitors to make the unbiased assessment and form the future EU policy towards Ukraine .
The delegation was represented by Mr. Peter Maresh – Special Ambassador for the Eastern Partnership of the EU and the Black Sea region of the Czech Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
Mr. Serge Smessow- Special Ambassador for the Eastern Partnership of the EU and the Black Sea Region Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic and Mr. Vaidotas Verba – Special Ambassador for the Eastern Partnership of the EU MFA of Lithuania.

With the assistance of the Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Dniepropetrovsk Vitaly Pivnyak on the 21-22 of March 2014 the city of Dniepropetrovsk was visited by the delegation.
During the visit was carried out a meeting of the Foreign Ministry of Lithuania, the Republic of France and the Czech Republic with students and professors of the National Mining University in Dniepropetrovsk.
The meeting was held the meeting of the Dniepropetrovsk Regional Council Yevhen G. Udod with officials of the Foreign Ministry of Lithuania, the Republic of France and the Czech Republic.
The delegation met with representatives of business circles of the Dniepropetrovsk region at the round table named " The vision of the business to continue the cooperation with the European Union".
During the visit the meetings were held with the public of the city and a press conference at news agency "Most- Dnepr" .
