October 29, 2015 the Lithuanian delegation headed by Advisor to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania Arvydas Skorupskasom arrived to Dnepropetrovsk for careful preparation the medical staff in Dnipropetrovsk hospitals and centers .The advanced training course of psycho-social assistance to military and civilian citizens will take place as well. With the support of the Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Dnipropetrovsk Vitaly Pivnyak were prepared the two-days program for the specialists during the visit to our city and different meetings of administrative and professional character. According to the planned project grant by the European Parliament, which was initiated by Lithuania, it would be implemented in Ukrainion regions as Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava .
During the meeting with the Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and Yemilis Subata (Director of Vilnius Centre for Addictive Disorders ) and Martynas Marcinkevicius (Director of Vilnius City Mental Health Center) was conducted a detailed overview of the project with defining the main aspects of bio-psycho-social assistance to civilians and militants. It was assumed that within a week 5 groups of 6 participants of the closed training would be trained in areas of psychiatry, psychology, social worker, nurse and case manager. Lithuania will train Ukrainian specialists for Europian medical norms and standards of servicing .
The training is scheduled to take place in late November. The program proved by the European Commission on the health and safety food. After a month of training it provides the monitoring of implementation the knowledge into practice by the specialists from the EU.
