On April 12, 2018, a lecture “Lithuania: History and Cultural Traditions of the People” was held in Lithuanian law centre.
The main guidelines for action of the 1st Lithuanian law centre in Ukraine defined the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European standards based on Lithuanian jurisdiction. The first step in implementing this plan was a public and introductory lecture devoted to the historical facts, dates and events of the Lithuanian state. It was symbolic that the speaker was the head of Lithuanian cultural and business center “Ginataras” Galina Khmel-Dunai.
It should be noted that representatives of the Lithuanian diaspora cherish national traditions and therefore actively pass on their knowledge to the young generation through such lectures, festivals of music and dance and round tables.
Among the audience were representatives of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Lithuania, Center staff and higher education students of Dnipropetrovsk University of Internal Affairs interested in European integration.
