In order to successfully implement the plan of the Lithuanian Law Center for harmonization of Ukrainian jurisdiction in accordance with international standards, the Honorary Consulate has presented a collection of books on Lithuanian and international law. Also, with the joint efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, Kaunas Vytautas Magnus University and Mykolas Romeris University an electronic library was created at the Center. Students and teachers of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs can freely access books, magazines, scientific publications, etc.
"The Honorary Consulate, as far as it is concerned, will do its best to make functioning of the Lithuanian Law Center effective. Now, students and university lecturers have got an opportunity to improve their knowledge of Lithuanian legislation, both in free access and with the help of publications that have been presented today," Vitaliy Pivnyak said.
